Best Horror Scenes - Compilation DVD/Movie??

This is an odd request, but here we go!

My wife and I are hosting a Halloween Costume Party this year (our first). I would like to have playing on the TV (w/mute on) a movie with the best horror scenes ever! New, old, high budget, low budget it doesnt matter.

Problem is, I've searched and searched but have not found exactly what I'm looking for.

Can anyone point me to a film? Is there such a film?

Thanks in advanced!!

Boogeymen is a compilation of horror stuff.

http://www.amazon.com/Boogeymen-Kill...6829003&sr=8-1

It runs about 60 minutes. It's alright, but not spectacular.

Not to the best of my (admittedly limited) knowledge, the best you could do is track down a special that has aired on UK TV in the past made by Channel 4 about exactly such a thing.

EDIT - posted at the same time as Ed, fair enough, told you it was limited

Thank you both for the info! I'll be searching my local Blockbuster to see if they carry it. If not, I've got a few weeks to order from amazon!

Appreciate the help!

There's always the old Terror in the Aisles (1984).

Re: Best Horror Scenes - Compilation DVD/Movie??

I second the 42nd Street compilations if you wanna try trailers OR Stephen Romano's Shock Festival is also a lot of fun.

There are also a bunch of 'mixtapes' that can be found, but I don't know of any offhand specifically. You can probably google 'horror video mixtapes' or something along those lines...
