Favorite DS Puzzle Games?
A friend of mine is on the hunt for some new DS Puzzle games. She just finished thru Tetris and I put her on Picross 3D.
I created a small list for her to try afterwards (she likes the puzzles) and was wondering if I'm missing anything and what the community at large favorites are.
Current Favs:
Planet Puzzle League
Henry Hatsworth
Professor Layton series
Puzzle Quest series

Picross 3D (and Picross DS): Must-own for puzzle fans. I might recommend starting with Picross DS first, as going from 3D to 2D might make the 2D seem less fun.
Planet Puzzle League: Really liked it, but holding the DS vertically strained my wrist, so I couldn't play it for long periods of time. IIRC, the game can be played horizontally, but the playing field is much smaller that way.
Sudoku: If you like it, there's like 10 different versions on the DS. I have Sudoku Gridmaster, and it's solid.
Professor Layton: Haven't played any of them yet, but they're on my radar. They seem to be pretty universally enjoyed by those who play them.
Club House Games: Not exclusively a puzzle game, but it has a bunch of card and board games, many of which can be played online. I played Mahjong Solitaire on this more than anything.
Phoenix Wright series: I personally didn't really get into the two that I tried playing, but a lot of people seemed to enjoy these.
Edit: Also, I've never played it, but my understanding is that Henry Hatsworth plays very similar to Planet Puzzle League. Not sure if one is better than the other, but I remember reading that Henry Hatsworth gets frustratingly difficult after a certain point.

Besides the ones you already mentioned in the first post, I'll second the original Picross. I've probably put more hours into that game than any other this generation. It's addicting, and you can get probably a hundred hours out of it, not even counting the free add on puzzles Nintendo released that you can download.

Re: Favorite DS Puzzle Games?
Polarium, I thought was a pretty neat puzzle game, simple but thinking needed. And should be pretty cheap.
Also if she has a GBA slot on the DS, she could try getting the kururuin games: Kururuin Logic Champ (1st game), Kururuin Paradise (2nd game).
First one was like picross, 2nd one is like those carnival games where you move the stick around a stick without touching the sides.
