Three Day Delay

Both Megan and Dr. Faye are absolutely smokin' hot. I don't know if it's the retro look or that these are just gorgeous women, but they both make me thank God that I am a heterosexual male.

Roger reminds me a lot of the grown-up, jaded Rusty Venture.

I liked that Peggy's reaction to having lipstick on her teeth (along with that dude not telling her) was to chuckle.

Three Day Delay

I sensed a little attraction after the dude (can't remember his name) duped her into looking vulnerable in the meeting.

I got this wrong with Betty and Baby Jean after season one, but Roger appears to be headed towards a desperate end. The signing of the book seemed ominous.

It's tough to see where Megan is going to end up as well.

Christ, this series is good.

tremendous ep, and one of the best seasons in the series, only 2 eps left... dang!

^I agree and think this season has probably been the most consistently GREAT since the first year. 2 and 3 were both good but had some rough patches IMO. This year has been firing on all cylinders, mostly because Betty is barely in the show anymore and we spend more time with people we actually care about.

Not that I think it's in the forefront of Don's mind, but he better keep Faye close as she knows his secret. You know the saying about a woman scorned.

That's what I mentioned in the last thread - telling Dr. Faye and the suggestion that Don may nail Megan made me think that Dr. Faye may have some vengance on Don.

Dr. Faye looked extremely hot in the red dress laying/sitting on Don's couch at the beginning. Megan has a nice body, but her buck teeth really are a turn off (yes, I'd still bang her).

We were seeing Don's life falling apart, but he seems to have picked himself up... but now we're seeing Roger's fall happen at a more rapid pace now. I had a feeling he was going to blow his brains out - but that doesn't seem like his style.

I liked Dennis putting his hand up to ask a question and noone seeing it.

I bet they wouldn't feel so bad about Lucky Strike leaving if they knew that Cigarette TV ads would be banned in about 5 years.

I thought this ep really highlighted the growth of Pete. Before he would have been the first person jumping off the ship.

I agree with this. Roger's story does not end well.

I like the scene at the funeral. You got a sense that Pete and Don were trying to figure out where their family's priorities were going to fall in the future. Don's already put his family in the back seat. I wonder if Pete will do the same.

Man this show just keeps getting better.

I agree with everyone re: Roger. What else does he contribute to SCDP besides Lucky Strike? And the company doesn't seem like it's in a financial position to keep him around as a figurehead.

Yep. Couple that with Joan's rejection and the ominous way he delivered the line (paraphrased), "So it was the last time? I wish I would have known."

If he makes it to next season I'll be surprised. Bummer, though--he's one of my favorite characters and his fall (the opening credit sequence?) seemed really fast.

Another great episode. Joan flipping out on Roger on the phone was great, because usually she's far more calm and collected.

It was interesting to see the tables turned on Don, having his secretary come on so strong. That situation isn't going to end well.

Cooper doesn't contribute anything either, but he did contribute part of the money to start SCDP, so he's one of the owners.

Roger is in the same position, so it's not like they can fire him.

Doesn't help SCDP. Those companies still had to, and did, advertise. If anything it likely increased their advert exposure in cheaper mediums like print. They still would have spent and it's the perfect opportunity to convince them to spend more to make up for the perceived/real disadvantage.
