Is this actor dead or alive?
I was watching Brides of Dracula last night on TCM and going through the cast and crew(looking to see who is dead and who is alive). I came across Norman Pierce who was born in 1900 but had no date of death. I went to IMDB and they list no date of death either. I can find no info on him and he would be around 110 years old so he must be dead right?

Re: Is this actor dead or alive?
I was just curious. I have developed a habit of checking the cast and crews on Directtv and it just seemed odd that he had no date of death and I couldnt find anything on him. I assume he is dead but who knows.

I guess if he became a vampire then this is all irrelevant. Somebody else asked the same question on IMDB two years ago and led to an even older unknown death Graham Soutten born in 1891.

Re: Is this actor dead or alive?
A lot of times, actors die in obscurity somewhere and nobody knows about it. It took me years to confirm that Theresa Harris, a stunning black actress active from 1930-54, had passed away (in 1985). (This was before IMDB existed.)
Meanwhile, Luise Rainer, who won Best Actress Oscars in the 1930s two years in a row (THE GREAT ZIEGFELD and THE GOOD EARTH) is 100 now and still with us:
And Gloria Stuart (THE INVISIBLE MAN, TITANIC) recently died at 100.
So, it's not an unreasonable question for Deadman31 to be asking.

Re: Is this actor dead or alive?
Thanks Ash. I kind of have fun looking up actors and their bios. Since I got Directtv I have been going through the cast and crews of alot of movies and I just found it odd that sometimes there is no date of death or very little info to be found. Kind of sad really.

Gloria Stuart was a HPOA back in her day.
