Definitely a few good deals there, though I think I own everything I'd want. A few of the titles have been ones that showed up at Big Lots for around $6.

Gangsters: Ultimate Film Collection seems like a pretty good deal for ten bucks. (2-disk versions of Casino, Carlito's Way, & Scarface; 3-disk version of American Gangster)

Thanks to the OP for this one. I picked up the INNER SANCTUM set, knowing they are not great movies, but loving Universal B stuff from that era. I also like that they put the original ad art on the cover, though minimized.

thanks, got a set...not a fan of American Gangster..thought it was very pretentious and lame...the other three are classics. Goodfellas would have made a good fit instead of American Gangster

Thanks OP for the heads-up - ordered Buck Rogers in the 25th Century-Complete Epic Series
and Bring It On Cheerbook Collection Edition. (Finally can re-use my videotapes that had those
cheerleader movies on it.)

Too bad I already have those and of course paid more for them but that is a great deal on those films! DVDEmpire has that set currently for $34.99!

The Gangsters box set made front page on Slickdeals, so it's probably heavily backordered and good luck to anyone who orders it (or probably Amazing Stories S1 which was the only other particular good deal I saw) getting it in less than a couple months. I still haven't had anything ship from my orders placed from late August to early September. Then I see the same BDs for sale elsewhere For a Few Dollars More, and I wonder if I should wait for DD or buy elsewhere and attempt to cancel at DD. DD has gone so far downhill that I'm afraid you never know if or when you'll get something from them, nor do you know if you cancel something if that will really happen. How can it take months to backorder stuff? They must only backorder in small batches instead of buying enough to fulfill everyone's backorder. It seems hard to believe that they would buy enough to empty the distributors and require a repressing.

I wish Amazon would match DD more. I refuse to shop at DD anymore. I wanted Crossing Jordan, so I grabbed a copy for $10 on Amazon marketplace and paid the expedited shipping. It's worth $15 to me. Amazon wanting $40+ for it is bloody insane though.

I know it's dropped that low before, but I just can't get over Buck Rogers at that price. I don't even know what I paid back in the day, but I'm sure it was about 5x that.
Hell, it's worth $10 just for the pilot movie. The rest of the series run is just candy.
Great price for Amazing Stories too. I still hold out hope that they'll finish that show on DVD...

the problem with Amazon marketplace is that its flooded with bootleg dealers. I ordered Planet Earth and Blue Planet set from a seller with top feedback and turned out the set was a bootleg. They know half the buyers won't know the difference, some won't care, some won't take the pain of returning and so on...I belonged to one of these (not taking the pain)..but learned a lesson and won't shop Amazon marketplace specially for DVDs
