Very fun episode. Not surprised that they toned down the action and effects since your not going to spend $8M per episode.
McGarrett and Danny are freaking hysterical together. I love their banter.
That knife fight between Kona and the Serbian chick was really well chereographed. Kona is one badass chick.
McGarrett: "Book'em Danno"
Danny: "Really? Is that going to be your thing now? Geez!"
I love how they are just having fun with it and not taking themselves too seriously. The other scene that cracked me up was on the rooftop after they identified one of the gunmen. McGarrett starts walking in the wrong direction
Danny: "Really? You're gonna go that way?"
I actually watched this live on my HDTV for the 1st time and it looks freaking awesome in HD.
Edit: Thx Dragon, I misheard that 2nd quote...still damn funny.

yeah that was a girl fight and a half right there.. I even thought it was over at one point with the pool.. but nooooo...
pretty good, even if there was some B grade movie stunt work as they kept swapping back and forth to the stunt woman who was so much bigger in size then Grace Park..
To be fair, it's just because Grace Park is so tiny compared to almost anyone..
over all it's a good ep.. they toned down the costs some as expected but it still feels like an action show and as others have said the locations look amazing..

"Really? You're gonna go that way?"
I lost it when I realized he said it because McGarret was walking in the wrong direction. The jokes on this show are really well done.
All in all I think I'm in for the season. I usually hate procedurals but I must be getting old or something because this show's pretty appealing. And the scenery is beautiful.

Pretty decent episode. I am a little dissapointed that the "Psycho" ringtone didn't show up in this episode. It cracked me up in the pilot and I thought it was a nice touch. I hope it shows up again at some point.

I loved the stuff with the family in the elevator.
Really, they got this show right. Perfect attitude, perfect tone, great location scouting, and as others have said the show just breezes by.

Enjoyed the pilot and this episode, I'll continue watching. The chemistry between the cast works out well.
The elevator scene had me laughing the most!

My sentiments exactly. While it is an action-oriented procedural, I'm glad that they have added humor in the mix, especially with Danno and McGarrett's banter.
