"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't fire you."
"Because my mother's vagina taught you to cook."
I loved that exchange.

I'm loving all the new actors they added this season. The actor that does the Chef that I have seen in several places, Linda Hamilton 100 years after T2, etc.
I think this has been the best season like in three years or so. Still far away from the best shows in TV right now, but if you, like me, have been watching this since the beginning, you'll like that.

The Weeds threads are getting smaller and smaller.
One thing I liked in this episode is how they basically did a throw back to the old days where Nancy drops by a dealer's house sipping her ice-coffee looking to buy some product (ala. Conrad/Heylia). It was the best part of the episode and ironically made me hate the show more now because it reminded me of when the show was actually good.
Nancy is more and more unlikable with each episode. She just can't do honest work and has to look for the easy illegal score. It's like she never did any housework before. Wasn't she a housewife taking care of the family when Judah was still alive or was Lupita always in the picture? Either way, what a lazy bitch.
The worst was her justification for not taking a regular job when Judah died, saying that they'd be in the same situation they're in now. Give me a break. She fucked up and continues to fuck up and still can't take the blame for anything. What a horrible mother she is.

Did I miss where Nancy suddenly knows how to make up anything?
In the past, wasn't it always Silas or Andy that knew growing, and Nancy just sold? When did she suddenly become a chemist? And also, hash? I know I'm not really in the drug scene, but isn't hash about 20 years out of date?

Not to mention a little bit risky to make in the laundry room at work. What, is she the ONLY maid for the entire hotel?
As stupid as this plot is, it's at least back to being entertaining now. Much better than last season so far. Hope they can keep it light and funny.

You got me. The Boston Phoenix just put out their "college survival guide" issue and they published the prices you'd expect to pay for drugs around here. They list weed, X, coke, LSD, shrooms, Xanax, but no hash. Maybe it's not big in Boston.
All I know about it is that Howard Stern sounds like a geezer every time he asks some actor if they ever tried hash oil.
