the originals (sweedish movies) were picked up by music box for very little money, and put in at first in a handfull of theaters, and thats all they were expecting. And since the original made a lot of money for them, they started opening it in more theaters, and i think bumped the release dates up for the sequels. The original i think made under 10 million bucks, which is actually alot of money considering i think it was in 200 theaters at the max. The popularity of the books and great word of mouth really helped

I'll skip it. I've seen all three films and probably will pick them all up when they'll package them together. I hope it will happen before the US version hits the theaters.

Screw Amazon. The DVD is 57% off, the Blu 28% off (like anyone was going to pay $35 for the film).
