Re: True Blood -- "Everything is Broken" -- 08/15/10

This season has left the first two in the dust as far as I'm concerned.

Loved seeing Franklin return, but sad they dispatched him again so soon!

This ep. really did a good job of showing off Alexander Skarsgard and Kristine Bauer's acting chops. It's obvious these two characters have deep feelings for each other, and I'm glad they got around to finally showing that aspect. I think Eric is going to wind up being the hero of this season when all is said and done.

I love how they portray Nan Flanagan as a typical politician; all around hypocrite when it boils down.
I guess Russell has now gone from being a Lex Luthor type villain to General Zod. It's a shame he never popped up in Sunnydale to give the Scooby's a run for their money!

Holy fucking shit, that was hilarious. FedEx that man his Emmy now.

I weep for the day when Russell is no longer on the show. Please, please, please don't kill him off.

This show gets on a roll and then either Tommy or Jason and Crystal show up and it comes to a screeching halt.

Some great stuff tonight with Hoyt and Jessica, Bill and Claudine meeting, and of course Russell.

What an amazing episode. The Crystal stuff was the lowpoint, but Sam knocking the shit out of that guy was very satisfying. I can't wait for next week.

We need an animated GIF of Russell on the roof, talking to "Talbot." That was beyond hilarious.

Holey CRAP!!!!

All I can say! The last five minutes had me and my mother speechless with our jaws on the ground!

I loved the sequences with Hoyt and Jessica, but I agree with the above poster that Jason went from kinda charming, to a little annoying to now just a waste of celluloid.

Can't wait for next week!

My DVR cut off with Russel at the desk saying something about the Weather. Did anything happen after that?

I liked Tara's scene when he showed up.

How do you fire a wooden bullet?

The same as a rubber, lead or other bullet, I don't know how easy or well it would work, but plausible.

He used some shotgun shells he got from the Fellowhip of Light, when he was training to be a vampire hunter.

The actor playing Russel is chewing up the scenery in a way that Evan Rachel Wood wishes she could...he's f'n awesome.

You would think silver pellets in the shells would work better than wooden ones, but maybe the fellowship was cheap.

I laughed at this great line (maybe I'll try it at a restaurant):

"I wanted to meet the sick f**k who ordered the veggie burger with bacon." - Lafayette
