Perhaps that's because this has somehow become a pissing contest to see who can get the thread up first. If Chad gets it posted at 12:10 one week, this guy goes for 12:08 the following week.

Of course there was no thread up for it yet...you're posting at the first possible minute the day begins. This isn't the first time this has happened. I don't get the big rush to start this marginally viewed and participated in thread. Chad's been doing it for years...let him post it when he posts it instead of rushing to be "the guy".

I dont see the rush to get any thread up either. I know I have started the thread a couple times just because I went to post my list monday morning, and there was no thread yet. No race to get the thread up or anything. I ahve noticed lately, however, that the thread is going up right at midnight or soon after most weeks.
