First Tier Cinematography
If a thread similar to, or perhaps even identical to this one has been made before, I apologize. But, after a few different searches I found nothing, and if one does exist it's been a long time and it's a topic that I think can be reopened with every new batch of films.
The idea is simple, list movies that you believe have breathtaking or just really nice and beautifully cinematography. In my opinion, good cinematography can enhance the movie going experience quite a bit, so can a good audio mix. Here's a few that I can think of off the top of my head:
Road to Perdition- Conrad L. Hall (2002)
There Will Be Blood- Robert Elswit (2007)
Saving Private Ryan- Janusz Kaminski (1998)
Blood Diamond- Eduardo Serra (2006)
Inception- Wally Pfister (2010)
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford- Roger Deakins (2007)
2001: A Space Odyssey- Geoffrey Unsworth (1968)
I'm sure I'll think of more later.
