Was it just me or did that orderly look eerily similar to Renee?

Damn, I love this show! So many new characters introduced in this episode! And glad to see Godric's character getting used still.

So is Bigfoot real too? Santa? - Jason

Has anyone on here read the books besides me?

Re: True Blood -- "Beautifully Broken" -- 06/20/10

What I want from True Blood for the rest of the season. More: Jason and Andy, Eric, Jessica, and werewolves. Less: whiney Tara, overracting Bill, and NO stupid Snoop Dog videos.

Okay ep., but felt kind of marred in people's personal problems. I also feel they are introducing an awful lot of characters fast. It will be difficult to keep track of them. I felt like last season had a better pace at the start. Jessica is starting to grow on me more than I thought she would, and Jason continues to deliver the great one liners. Overall, an average ep., but an average True Blood is above average TV.

First 2 episodes make this infinitely better than last seasons already... Love the Nazi Werewolves!

Most favorite moment was when Terry told Sookie to freeze. Combat style.

Nice casting of Alfre as Laf's mama.

Dang, do Nazi Werewolves really make that much of a difference in whether someone likes or dislikes something?

I think it has more to do with most people hating the Maryann storyline

Pretty good episode

I hope we get more scenes with Pam and Jessica together in the future.

Blood bisque...Blood gelato...Ridiculous yummy episode that just flew by even with the truckload of new/old characters being dumped in.
The hour did leave me wondering where the heck they are going with Arlene's pregnancy and Sam's Ark. white trash family reunion - those two felt a bit detached from everything else.

Count me in also lovin' Alfre Woodard ("This is Jesus. He's a Mexican, but he aint rape me yet." ) Thought Tara dominated too much of the hour, but at least there was some progress with her getting over Eggs.

if that Jessica/Hoyt hookup doesn't quite work out, we may get more girl-girl time.

Do humans have to be formal when inviting the vamps into their houses? Just thought it was odd for Sookie calling Eric "Mr. Northman".

I loved the fact that Sookie said her own name the way Bill says her name. That was awesome.

I'm glad Kevin Alejandro's appearances here won't impact his time on "Southland".

I want more LaFayette and Jesus. You feel me?

Speaking of that scene "Let's go stare at ourselves in the mirror", I don't recall the vampire lore for this series. I thought they didn't have reflections...

The Sam storyline has a lot of potential if handled well. They're biting off a whole lot in terms of ground to cover in only 10 remaining episodes IMHO. Still, glad to see that Hotshot is part of the story and Calvin!

Jason - "I caught me a drug dealer!"

The storyline just went on for way too long and dominated too many episodes.

Well in the book, it is like super short. It is almost like a "mini episode" at the end of Dead in Dallas. It definitely was a mistake to drag it out as much as they did even if it did give Tara's character something to do (and regret in terms of Eggs) and forge the new relationship between Andy and Jason - which may be excuse enough to make up for all of it!

IIRC in the first season they said that the vampires having no reflections thing was just a misconception people had from movies and what not. I think also the garlic thing wasn't true either though I think Bill said they generally just don't like.

Cool. I've currently read all 10. Ill warn you that book 9 was probably the weakest, but the 10th redeems itself. Have you noticed the "hints" they been dropping about a certain main character? I dont wanna say the name on here or in a spoiler because some ppl might get mad at me if it they go with it, and I spoil it this early in the series

I figured they were gonna start using Hotshot this season since they already announced that Alcide, Debbie Pelt, and Calvin were going to appear... I hope this also lead's to Jason's storyline from the books too.

Yeah, my wife does that too whenever she says "Sookie", so we both got a good laugh at that.

Oh, oh, someone better tell Snoop Dogg that the garlic hanging from his rearview mirror in his car won't work!

Loved all the "courses" that were brought out to Bill. All pretty much the same thing, just "prepared" differently.

"Bigfoot? Santa?" Jason has been getting great lines so far.

I agree that the Tara and Sam storylines need to move a bit more, although Sam's brother seems to have some issues (did he stop in the middle of the road and then change to an owl and fly away so Sam would be nearly killed by the oncoming truck?).

That might be something left up for debate like whether or not Tony Soprano's mom actually tried to have him whacked. Doubt it will get to that level though.

I wondered that too, because I wasn't sure if the brother knew that Sam is not very good at shape-shifting.
