Over the course of the past week, I managed to watch the previous 21 episodes. I'd heard how good the show was but was a bit skeptical. After the first episode, I was hooked. Looking forward to catching tonight's live.

I loved everything about this episode...except for Quinn and Puck giving Beth up for adoption to Shelby of all people. I also thought the jab at Sandra Bullock was a little forced.
Still, a great finale to an amazing first season. I love how they sort of came full circle. I'm glad New Directions didn't win though, because it would have been too cliche
All of the performances tonight were phenomenal, especially Faithfully. For those that are interested, the Journey Medley is split up into three full-length tracks on the EP and they sound even better.
Highlights...
-When Aural Intensity starting singing and Puck says, "A mash-up of Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John...Come on!"
-Olivia Newton-John being perplexed that only one group sang one of her songs
-All of Sue's one-liners and insults, particularly "Glee Club is so important...that I can't even finish this sentence"
-Bohemian Rhapsody interspersed with scenes of Quinn giving birth
-Seeing Emma again and her yelling at Figgins
-The Journey Medley
-Josh Groban asking Sue if she was single
-Rachel and Finn coming in through doors, reminiscent of Rachel coming in through the doors during the Sectionals performance of "Don't Rain On My Parade"
-Quinn's mom showing up
-When the group was going around saying what they were like before Glee Club, Santana saying "I hated everyone in this group" and then Brittany saying, "Me too"
-The emotional rendition of "To Sir, With Love"
-Sue showing some heart and casting her vote according to who she thought did best, not letting personal feelings for Will, etc. get in the way
-Sue rationalizing why Glee Club needs to stick around
And if the casting spoiler for Season 2 is true, I'm very excited for that. Should be a lot of fun.

Ha I loved how Rachel's mom said she didn't want to co-teach the glee club with Will because she "wanted a life". Isn't that a slap in the face considering that's why she gave up Rachel for adoption?

I saw that Matthew Morrison is working on a solo album. Thumbs up to that.
She didn't give up Rachel for adoption. She was a surrogate, of sorts. The dads contributed sperm and Idina contributed the egg.

Overall, I loved this episode. The only thing I didn't like was Jesse's singing on Bohemian. The performance aspect of it was great and the scenes of the birth cut in was just amazing but I just didn't enjoy the song. I'll admit, I was swaying and singing with the Journey performance.
I think it's been obvious for awhile the results of regionals, but I didn't see Sue's reaction and the aftermath coming at all.

This was a good finale. Sue was great as always. Performances were good although I thought the Journey medley was a bit Rachael/Finn heavy. The plot seemed a bit rushed. They seemed to rush the story bits so they could stretch the emotional moments.

Really enjoyed the last episode. Sue was out of this world good in this episode, and Josh Groban cracked me up as well.
I enjoyed the songs much more, and Don't Stop Believing was great with everyone getting parts.
The Sandra Bullock shot did feel cheap, but oh well.
I thought they really did beat Vocal Adrenaline.

Loved it from start to finish. Brought back a lot of memories of my own show choir competition days. Especially how emotional things get when it's over. Finn's "I love you" was especially nice...giving Rachel exactly what she needed to get out there and do her thing.
Nice to see people get their moments. And I'm glad they did the finals halfway through so we got to see plenty of resolution during the last half. And Idina taking the baby at the end is a stroke of genius. Not only do we not have to see Quinn and Puck be parents next year, but she gets the little girl she's wanted since she gave up Rachel. That was a nice bit of symmetry and I appreciated how it all came together. And as already mentioned, the birthing scene was well-done. Got to see Vocal Adrenaline's performance while still advancing the plot. Well-done.
Sue knocked it out of the park, and, once again, Josh Groban brings the funny.
A great end to a great season. Can't wait for the Blu-ray and Season 2!
