Sony pictures will be releasing the Jackie Chan dramatic actioner on 6-8-10, the DVD will include an commentary with Jackie and an "Say Hello to the Bad Guy: Up Close with Jackie Chan" featurette.

Troubling (but not overly surprising) how low almost every DVD company has sunk these days when it comes to sourcing blurbs from critics (or in this case "critics") for their new releases. Do they even bother to peruse more than one or two websites for amateur praise before sending their sleeve art off to the printers? This film, in particular, has reviews available (some by professional writers who are actually online and in print) from which suitable quotes could be pulled, even from reviews that were lukewarm toward the film. Instead, they scan the web sites of a couple niche martial arts magazines to promote a film with virtually no martial arts in it at all. Sigh. The pigeon-holing of HK cinema continues apace.

Also, that picture of Chan almost seems like it could qualify as a Photoshop Disaster®.
