Wow, that's a craptacular price for True Blood season 1. Isn't the goal to price the previous seasons low enough so customers are actually tempted to buy them along with the newly released season?

Anyway, great price for season 2, especially by HBO standards. I might even buy my own bottle of Tru Blood just for the hell of it.

If there's any left, I saw them on the endcaps. There's a pre-order card and folded poster inside a clear plastic sleeve (similar to District 9 pre-order). You can still do the pre-order on BestBuy.com. Or jot down the sku #9895882 and ask them to look it up.

Yeah, they are pretty small, and easy to miss if you are used to ignoring all the pre-order cards spread throughout most endcaps and the new release sections, as they almost look like just a pre-order card.

They are all over all the local Best Buys here.

best buy selling the TB drinks? im totally buying 4-5 of them, HBO wants a ridiculous amount of money for shipping so im happy to see this sold outside of the hbo store

It's supposed to be blood orange flavored. I'm guessing it'll taste something like the Mountain Dew Livewire. I will definitely be picking up a few bottles of it and the season 2 DVDs.

I like True Blood alot and haven't seen Season 2 yet since I don't have HBO. However, I recall season 1 DVD, which I did pick up, dropped as low as $19.99 at one point--the day I got it. I'm wondering if I should wait for a better deal. $32.99 isn't too bad, but I'm wondering if I wait a little bit if something better will come along.

I plan to wait on True Blood and will Netflix it. I got my copy of season 1 for about $25 a few weeks after it was released.

I'm pretty confident that True Blood Season 2 will see a drop towards $19.99 sometime in the next 6 months, perhaps closer to the holidays, or even in time for Halloween. Since you don't have HBO, and therefore likely don't have the need to catch the episodes before Season 3 starts airing, you'd could save a few bucks by holding out for a while.

Yeah, the HBO box sets no longer hold out their outrageous prices for that long. While they used to dip significantly near Christmas, nowadays a lot of stores are purging their stock since the shows have been off the air for a while now.

Regardless... I don't have HBO as well and I'm tempted to *ahem* bite. But, I still need other TV sets and I'm in no hurry.

Side note... Stopped by Best Buy today to grab a case for an external hard drive and 0 bottles of Tru Blood were available. Hope that changes with the new releases this week.

Was in best buy just a bit ago, they had a ad correction sign up in their new release section referring to the TruBlood drinks and the T-shirts featured in the ad as available now. They said that that was incorrect and that they will have them on tuesday to coincide with the release of the season 2 set.

The Tru Blood soda isn't too bad. The best thing about it is that the bottle's glass is tinted dark red so you can reuse the bottle and what you're drinking will probably still look "bloodlike". It might be cool for drinking out of at a halloween party.
