There is a Region 2 DVD of Geronimo with Chuck Connors
but why not Region 1 ?
Same thing with Battle at Apache Pass and
Pillars in the Sky.

I wish someone would give "RED RIVER" an Upgrade.
There are bunch of WESTERNS being released on Blu-Ray this month.

I just found out that Apache Rifles starring Audie Murphy will be released on Aug 31.
Can't wait for that one.

It's directed by Sam Fuller and I think it's a little like The Naked Prey. A cowboy is chased down by indians, but I think they do it to test his manhood or something. I just want to see everything Fuller, and his westerns kick ass. You've got to see 40 Guns. 20th Century Fox, b&w cinemascope, completely stunning looking, completely nuts-o western. The 40 Guns are really a posse of 40 young hunky cowboys who Barbara Stanwyk keeps around her to satisfy all her nasty sexyness, and men take baths outdoors in big barrel bathtubs, and there's a "Leone style" stand-off in the streets where the two guys stare each other down, and stare each other down, and stare each other down untill one guy just walks up and punches the other guy in the face. It's just fucking awsome.
