Onkyo 575 owners...how many DB do u crank up your surrounds?

This question really can't be answered in any meaningful way. The surrounds should be set using a SPL meter and test tones (eg, the 75db test tones on Video Essentials) and the extent to which you need to boost or cut the surround levels will depend on a number of factors, such as primary listening area, room size, speaker placement and speaker sensitivity.

I've tried fooling with the Db settings on my surrounds. I still can hardly hear those little bookself speakers over my floor ones. I mean I know surrounds are designed to be a little distant but I mean come on. I didn't buy em for nothing.
