Castle -- "Wrapped Up In Death" -- 04/05/10

Castle

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
The investigation into the shocking death of a museum curator, crushed by a falling gargoyle, takes a bizarre turn when Castle and Beckett learn that he isn't the first member of a recent archeological expedition to die. It turns out there was a legend inscribed over the burial chamber the team unearthed warning that "all who gaze upon the face of the mummy are doomed." Was the curator just the latest victim of "The Mummy's Curse"? And if so, what does that mean for Castle, who snuck a peek at the mummy when no one was looking?

Another good episode. Loved the Scooby-Doo and Indy references. I'm still trying to place the actor who was the killer. I know he was in an early season of 24.

Currie Graham has been on a slew of TV shows. He was most recently a regular on "Raising The Bar", and has appeared on the various CSI shows, Boston Legal, and I'm sure many, many more.

Desperate Housewives is where I thought he was from, but even looking it up, I can't remember his character on there. I don't remember him on House at all either.

Sela Ward had a recurring part on House a few seasons ago (she played an ex) and Currie played her husband.

He was also on NYPD Blue for a while after Esai Morales left i believe. Loved their messing with Castle and his asking Beckett to watch out after his daughter in case something happens to him.

He was Lynette and Tom's boss at the advertising firm when she went back to work in season two. He was having marital problems and had Lynnette sending his wife sexy messages that were supposedly from him. I like him, but he can get some blank 'duh...' looks on his face at times.

Pretty much every post here is talking about who the hell Currie Graham is rather than the actual episode.

The episode was one, if not the best. Really cool and fun. Though Beckett did a piss poor job of Scooby's "Row Row" I had to keep rewinding to see what the hell she was saying.

She didn't nail it as it's definitely more of a 'Ruh Roh'.

^^

The two detectives that support Castle and Becket are brilliant comedy relief. In some ways the elevate this show quite a bit.

Liked this episode, but at the beginning, I thought that they were setting up to have Castle's daughter jealous of all of the time he was spending with Beckett, but they didn't follow through with it.
