Released in Australia in 2008, this film noir is getting a limited US theatrical release on April 9th.
It's is at 100% on RT right now with 11 reviews in, and glowing reviews at that.
Some spoilers may be in the reviews of course. RT link:
I'm really looking forward to seeing this now, I'm seeing it in the next couple of days.
Anyone already seen it?

Very good film.
A purist noir... the gloves are off and I really liked the unsettling tension. Just a well-written, plot-driven film.
May be more impressive as a debut than as a film itself. As I watched I was thinking 'I can't wait to see what these guys do next', so I guess in that respect I can see why there have been several reviewers making Coen brothers comparisons.

I saw it (it plays with Nash Edgerton's short film Spider in front of it, BTW), and the suspense was phenomenal. It has problems (not a woman-friendly film; don't know if I'd call it misogynistic, but it's a recurring issue), but it's well worth seeing.

The DVD/Blu releases are coming out now so I thought I'd bump this as a head's up.
It really is a fantastic noir.

i saw it not too long ago and thought it was really well made. doesn't re-invent the wheel or anything just very solid. nice to see this type of film done right.
