Wish list on Steam?

I'm kind of new to Steam (just got into the sale over the holidays) so pardon my inexperience.

Is there a wish list option somewhere? Every so often i will find a game that looks interesting but not enough to bite at that second. Typically i then promptly forget the title. It would be nice to have a wish list i could go back to and reference when i am wanting something new (like i do on Amazon).

This particularly came to light today when i found a couple games my daughter would love but i want to wait to snag them as a reward down the line. I just imagine i will forget to get Mystical Pony Land or whatever the hell the game is she was swooning over.

So, any Steam experts?

Re: Wish list on Steam?

Nope, no wish list option, unfortunately. It's a commonly requested feature, and some people from Valve have posted in the forums that it is something that will be incorporated in the future, they just haven't specified when. Was hoping it would be included in the beta Steam client they released a couple of weeks ago, but it's nowhere to be found.

What I'm doing in the meantime is opening a Notepad file and just jotting down the games I'm interested in for future purchase.

They are doing a beta for a new UI, but I'm not sure if it includes a wish list.

Edit: looks like GreenVulture already said it doesn't.

Well, how's this for timing? On the new Steam client beta, they just added a wishlist option:

So there you go, xmiyux; now you won't have to worry about forgetting magical pony games anymore.

Seems like a smart idea, they can use the wish list data to see which games they should push with sales.
