You could look at this as a collection that contains: generation 1 (the "original" episodes) and generation 2 (the movies) of Futurama. you could say the new, forth coming episode are gen. 3. Also, this could/would explain why the collection isn't called: the complete series.

Very nice set, mad that I just picked it up for $108 on Amazon. Be advised, however, discs arrived all over the place out of their slots. Although there was no visible damage and the set is fine once the problem is corrected, it seems to be a common issue. The Bender head is too cool to pass up though.

It depends on if you want to spend $40+ more for "the head" though. It was in the $40 range for the whole season set (sans head) at Amazon this holiday season.

If amazon ever puts this at around $60 like the stewie head I will definitely purchase.. not sure I want to spend more than that though.

anyways im not a HUGE futurama fan, i can get the seasons much cheaper i can't justify the 30-40 extra for the head but im holding off for a 50-60$ price tag for this, or wait for another complete set after the new season(s) stop
