DVD Talk review of 'The House of the Devil'

I read Cameron McGaughy's DVD review of The House of the Devil at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=41037 and..."I imagine some people might find the film's pace boring, but I couldn't disagree more--it's refreshing to see a filmmaker refuse to succumb to the dollar-sign demands of a shock every five minutes." No, no, sir, it was a boring as waiting for that 30 minute pizza to arrive. I think it actually took 30 minutes of film time for the thing to arrive! There's suspense and then there is watching someone move aimlessly about a darkened house. The latter is true about this flick. I had heard so much about it that I could not have been more let down.
