I hate having to preface anything first, but this has come up a lot this week when talking to friends and co-workers. Most of whom are either for The Hurt Locker or Avatar. When I tell them I think Inglourious Basterds should win, most tell me I must be a Quentin fanboy. No, I just think it was the best film of the 10 nominated films and, honestly, I don't think The Hurt Locker or Avatar were nearly as good and I'm in no hurry to see either again.
