I have a Toshiba SD 2200 and I dont have any special equipment, no reciver, the DVD player is connected with the cables that came in the box and a ar s-video cable. One thing I notice when I play DVDs the sound of the music overpowers the dialouge, is there any way to fix this ?

I am not too familiar with the 2200, but I will give it a shot. Since you have ne receiver I guess it is just connected right to the tv.

If the 2200 has the 3D sound option on the remote turn it off and set it to normal/no effect.

Try turning your tv to mono instead of stereo. This may clear out some of the background noise that it produces and sharpen the dialouge.

Good Luck!
