Count me in. Bringing back Lin and Morgan makes it even sweeter since I really dug Tokyo Drift and the last outing.
If they can find a way to bring Han back from the dead and make Tyrese and Lucas Black somehow enter the picture, this may be one of the greatest sequels of all time.
Universal Pictures has given the greenlight to a fifth film in the Fast and the Furious franchise. And in an apparent attempt to one-up the ridiculousness of the previous titles, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Fast & Furious, they have come up with the brilliant (yes, sarcasm) title “Fast Five.” The studio has inked deals with all the key players, including stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, director Justin Lin, screenwriter Chris Morgan (Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Wanted), and producer Neal Moritz to return to the franchise. According to Variety, the fifth film will follow Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as “fugitives being pursued by legendary lawmen.”

I'm in . And I want Tyrese and Lucas black in this as well. But in more than just a cameo like Han in the last outing.

Since V is the Roman numeral for 5, why not call it VAST AND VURIOUS?
Or FAVT AND FURIOUV.
And what's with this "fugitives pursued by legendary lawmen" bit? What, are they turning it into a western and putting Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson into the mix? Or a Prohibition-era crime drama and putting Eliot Ness in there? Or Eddie Egan from THE FRENCH CONNECTION? (That would have been an interesting possibility some 30-odd years ago.) The only living legendary lawman I know of is Frank Serpico and he's in no mood to chase anybody. Even if you could get Al Pacino to reprise the role.

I'm sorry for all the haters in this thread, but the Fast and Furious franchise has been a consistently solid guilty pleasure for me since the first outing. I've never been disappointed and each outing has been a blast. If this and the Final Destination franchise could keep going, I could probably sleep better at night.

Meh. I'll probably see it.
That said, I think they must have a guy locked in a room at Universal charged with coming up with the worst possible titles for this franchise.

Cool cars, good action and stunts, hot chicks, macho guys and pretty boys, and 80's style cheese. They're all fun movies
