Does anyone know if there is a DVD out there that can be used to set up your system for the best performance? If so, where can I get my hands on one? Thanks.

I have the other which is Video Essentials. I have been told that Avia is better but have never compared the 2. I thought VE did a great job of calibrating the video. For the audio I bought the Radio Shack sound meter but eventually found that due to idiosynchrocies in my room and with my hearing I ended up boosting up the surrounds even more, but the disc still provided a good starting point.

AVIA Guide to Home Theater. It's made by Ovation Software, www.ovationsw.com. Available at Amazon and other e-tailers near you!

Thanks guys. Avia seems to be the ticket. I've found several sources that have them, and they are even for rent. I appreciate the help.

Sorry buzz, I mislead you. I got the Video Essentials DVD at Netflix. I could not find the AVIA either. I'll probably end up buying the AVIA when I get a decent Amazon GC.
