I was very happy to see this news. Thank you Disney! Please put out every bit of Marvel animation you own!

Re: Iron Man: The Complete 1994 Animated Television Series - May 4th

I was actually hoping Spider-Man would be the next property released after X-Men was completed, but am still glad to see Iron Man getting released. Since this is a one-and-done release, perhaps we'll see Spider-Man or The Incredible Hulk; although the former they might wait to release until the reboot of Spider-Man hits theaters.

Nice! I don't remember this one even being on TV but I'll eat up any 90s animation (especially Marvel). Day one purchase for sure.

This. While I'd love to see Spider-Man, I'm not complaining with this release.

Nice! Now hopefully Disney will release the 60's series on DVD same time as IM2's DVD release.

I loved the series back in the 90's along with the other Marvel Hour cartoons, but recently watched some episodes on Disney XD and it doesn't hold up very well. Still, I'm glad this is being released and I hope it leads to Spider-Man, Hulk, The Avengers and The Silver Surfer being released.

Ditto. The Iron Man release would appear to bode well for the future releases of these others.

Everyone can thank me for this release. Less than 24-hours before the press release went public, my U.K. dvd set shipped out. On a tangential note, all three seasons of The Tick cartoon are available in the U.K.

I remember this intro and I'll be damned if it wasn't badass. Much more badass than the newer one they later brought up. It was fine but....something about that theme for the 1st intro was just more badass. Probably that pounding of "iron"?

Still cool but...not as cool as the 1st one. Visually...probably better though.

Ok..i got this when it was released..and...it's very very fucking boring. Jesus...this thing is boring as hell. Not even the Hulk could make this better.

This may be one of those moments where your nostalgic memory may get the better of you.

I couldn't agree more. X-Men holds up very well and I enjoyed revisiting the episodes on DVD, but this was pretty bad. I can't believe they chose to release this instead of The Incredible Hulk or Spider-Man.

While the PS3 I own is multi-region for DVD, I don't own a TV that can play PAL signals or convert PAL to NTSC. I'm hoping to see a R1 release.

Did you get to the second season yet? I haven't watched it myself, but I believe the second season is supposed to be decently better.

Silver Surfer and Hulk hold up but Ironman from the 1990`s is dated, even my nine year old son made fun of it but he does love the new Ironman cartoon on Nick.

The two Iron Man seasons were like night and day; the first season was very meh, the second season, everything was changed down to the animation studio and the episodes were much more enjoyable.

The 90s Fantastic Four was the same as well. Season 2 was millions times better.

Re: Iron Man: The Complete 1994 Animated Television Series - May 4th

I've seen both seasons..and yes Season 2 is MUUUUCHHHH better but it's still kinda boring. IM just has very boring storylines w/ boring villain story arcs, the cartoon that is. I liked Armor Wars a bit. It got old quick. I like this thing mostly cuz of season 2. Season 1 was horrid.

At least w/ the FF you had TONS more variety in villains. I hated seeing Mandarin and Modok all the damn time...especially the humor from their partnership. *shudder* It's ok..just...not as good as I remembered it.

Re: Iron Man: The Complete 1994 Animated Television Series - May 4th

Anybody have problems with disc one? I tried playing it in my Blu-Ray player and disc one wouldn't read at all...it was like I was putting a region two DVD in the player and got the same type of message, saying the disc won't play and check my TV system. Disc two and three played.

I exchanged it today but didn't open the exchanged copy yet...I am trying to find if this is a problem with the DVD being played on Blu-Ray players. I have a Samsung BD p1500.
