I have been hearing a clicking sound in my receiver and not sure what it is
I don't even play my receiver at high volumes and am not sure why it does this?
If anyone can help please do.....And if it is something I should be concerned with tell me.
Technics DA930 I think that is what it is.

What type of clicking noise? Does it click randomly? Is it isolated in one area? Does the clicking occur when you switch modes(Pro-logic to Dolby Digital)?

I can only hear it click when I am watching regular TV....And it seems like it is at random...And it is not playing loud at all So I don't think it is the fan! but I may be wrong.

Mine (Denon AVR-3300) clicks when you change mode from Pro Logic to DTS or DD. My old one (Denon AVR-3200) did the same.

Clarify: is the clicking from the receiver or speakers? Is it the same kind of click you hear when you switch the machine on?

Yes it is the same clicking sound as when you turn the receiver on. And it does it when it is just on...I don't turn anything it just clicks.

The clicking is from the back of the receiver.
