Any word if this will port over the isolated music track from the 2001 DVD release? --Peter

I love this movie, but DVDAF has the features the exact same as the 2 disc released in 2001. Why release it exactly the same?

Unless Warner messes up the transfer I definitely will be getting the blu-ray version. Sold off my DVD copy a few years ago anticipating the eventual high definition release. Looking forward to this one.

im guessing because the point of the 2001 release going oop and this re-release is actually for the blu-ray.

In this day and age, WHY in the hell is the WB still doing flipper discs?!

There is no reason why they couldn't have done Doctor Zhivago on three discs (two for the film and the new features and the third disc for all the old features from the last set).

Other than that, the movie looks gorgeous in this new transfer.
