DVD Talk review of 'The Jerry Lewis Show Collection'
I read Paul Mavis's DVD review of The Jerry Lewis Show Collection at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=41569 and...
Thanks to both Paul and Stuart for getting the word out on this "collection." I'd rather keep my warm memories of watching "The Ladies Man" or "Nutty Professor" from front row center. Aside from humor, both are films with incredible, color-drenched sets. (Jerry owes a lot to Frank Tashlin.) Because most people picture "The Kid" when they think of Lewis, he will always be a contradiction in terms as a "Complete Film Maker."

They should have released a DVD of his 90 minute talk show like they did in the U.K., with guests like Sam Cooke and Cassius Clay it was interesting.
