I read an article not to long ago that talked about the success of casual gaming. Specifically things done to make casual games successful. At one point in the article they were talking to Popcap and one of things mentioned is the importance of sounds in the game. How in Peggle with each hit the sound goes up an octave. This is a technique that Casinos use with slot machines as well. For the life of me I can't find this article. Can anyone help?
