I found the Peggle trial moderately enjoyable when it came out, but now at 400 points a few friends say I should snag it.

I tried the trial again last night and it just seemed kinda 'meh.'

Does it get any better?

I'm split between this and Panzier: Allied Assault, which I greatly enjoyed the trial version of (as I'm a huge board/card game fan).

Why would you be split between a trial version that you "greatly enjoyed" and a trial version that left you "meh?"

The later "powers" are more fun to play with... but I'd say if you're not feeling Peggle by now, it's probably not happening and you should go ahead with the other game.

Yeah, what atxbomber said. I love Peggle, I finished the demo and had to buy it instantly. So if you found it meh, just buy the other game.

I enjoy Peggle, it's a nice diversion, but I honestly don't see the Apple-level cult following of it. Some of powers are pretty cool, but since you can generally use each one at most 2 times per level, that's not enough of a reason to buy it.

$5 is impulse purchase territory. It's possible there's more to it than the 10(?) levels in the trial give you. There is. 65 levels, 75 challenges, party play.

I say buy both because they don't overlap. Panzer General will probably be on sale in the future. I really don't think there's much of an online community anyway.

The demo of Peggle is a great representation of what that game is. If that doesn't do it for you, skip it.

i played more peggle than any other game on my iphone. it was the best buy i've made so far
