I'm 18 year old Black Dynamite and you're my 16 year old brother, Jimmy.
Saw this last night and plan on going again at our local arthouse's debut of it in 2 weeks. This movie BEGS to be seen with a raucous crowd with lots of in everyone's hands.

Crap. Looks like this isn't going to make it to any theaters around me.
I understand though... the cineplexes need all the screens they can get to show 3 different versions of "A Christmas Carol" and to show "New Moon" on 5 different screens. Makes perfect sense to have 16 screens but only show 8 different movies.

That line elicited at least 10 seconds of steady laughter from the audience.

That review though reminded me of why I put no faith in anything they write. I'll be up front for my sincere love for "Black Dynamite" but I just don't get some of the hate reviewers have piled on this movie. I really think, ten years from now, this will be another "The Big Lebowski" were critics will covertly begin to praise it for it's comedic genius.
