Adult Swim burn on demand program announced

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Sit...-Project/12975

I'm currently trying to get the website to come up, really hoping this will allow you to burn the Space Ghost CTC episodes not on regular DVD.

I can't get it to work in FireFox or IE, can someone else give it a shot?

Re: Adult Swim burn on demand program announced

When I tried it last night, I could only get it to work w/ Netscape (7.1). As of last Night SGC2C was not yet included - I hope they do have the classic eps available as well. It appears to limit each disc to 9 episodes or 110 minutes. At $20 a pop, that will add up quick.

Netscape? I forgot that thing even existed.

Still, it will be worth it for Lucy: DOTD too.

I'd love to get Drinky Crow, but I couldn't get this to work last night.

While I can see why some would be interested in it, I don't think I'll bother. The only Adult Swim show I'd bother getting on DVD (although for some strange reason, I haven't gotten around to it yet) is Venture Bros.

If I can burn Korgoth and the Danzig ep of ATHF, I'll be ok with this.

I'd love to get the old music video episodes of Space Ghost. I love me the Brak bean song.

I'm waiting for The Xtacles (Frisky Dingo spin-off) and will throw some other not-on-DVD stuff on there.

I've been in contact with the helpful Kate at [as] who suggested an Abobe Flash upgrade and clearing my cache, plus they just patched it this morning...

And she gave me this link which seems to work so far

When they offer the Cartoon Planet bumpers with Space Ghost, Zorak, and Brak, count me in.

There's 11 eps of Lucy, DOTD but only 9 will fit on a disk, so $40 for the complete series, when [as] DVDs usually have 13-14 eps for far less than that is a little nuts. But like dogmatica, I'd love to have all those bumpers and can totally see filling out some Lucy discs with those.

They've added some shows including Metalocalypse and Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, including some SG episodes that aren't on DVD (according to Wiki, anyways).

Couldn't agree more. The only reason I went to the site was to buy Lucy Daughter of the Devil. Lame cover art, too expensive, and most of it you can get on dvd much cheaper in a far superior version.

Given some time it may improve, but I doubt it.

I'm all in for Xtacles as well.

Lame site.

Kind of ridiculous that you can't even fit a full season on one disc. I want to do Moral Orel but would have to spread it out over FIVE discs and can't justify spending $100 on something that is burned.

Would you really want to though? The discs can hold a maximum of 110 minutes, which seems to me to be a reasonable amount of time for a single-layer DVD-R.

The first 15 episodes of the show are on the factory-pressed "Volume One" release, so you'd only have to burn the remaining 28 episodes, which would be 4 discs, with plenty of room to spare on the 4th DVD-R for episodes from some other shows.

See, that's the thing though. It would bug me to have the digipak factory release next to a bunch of burned DVDs. If I was going to do it, I'd just get the entire series in the burned format.

Are you sure these are DVD-R and not dynamically factory pressed somehow?

I really doubt they would factory press one disc at a time, I don't think it would be cost-effective.

Re: Adult Swim burn on demand program announced

Is there a list somewhere of the SGC2C episodes that were left off of previous volumes? I know season 1 had a few. That is really what I want from a program like this.

According to this, every episode of every Adult Swim show ever is now available through the system. No price cuts, sadly.

Re: Adult Swim burn on demand program announced

There is a handful of stuff I want (Xtacles, missing Space Ghost episodes) but that price is a bit hard to bite on. I keep hoping them have a coupon at some point.
