I enjoyed this episode. I don't really care for the whole Witch storyline but there was enough of the Damon/Stefan story to make up for it. There was enough Caroline to look at also..

Ugh, 2 months?

I don't mind the witch stuff too much, but it is on the boring side compared to everything else going on.

I thought Damon's master plan would take a little longer to finish up. If it is resolved, it was revealed and ended pretty fast. Maybe it's not done?

They have no choice. November 19th will be episode 10 and they have to pad out the remaining 12 weeks of episodes until May. I mean this is nothing new, all shows have to do it.

Still enjoying this show because it just keeps pushing forward, doesn't lollygag around plot points for episodes on end.

Matt and Caroline are pretty useless characters at this point, though caroline's nice to look at.

Kind of funny that Bianca Lawson has killed Vampires as a witch and also a slayer when she played Kendra on Buffy.

Wow - I never guess that was Kendra. Nor would I guess that a 30 year old was playing a 16 year old. Impressive I suppose.

Anyway, another great episode. I thought Damon and Stephan mocking each other was really great. Very interesting how they can be so open with each other and yet so closed at the same time. I also like that they are sprinkling more history throughout the show - especially on their relationship with Catherine.

I'm betting Jeremy sooner or later uncovers the truth himself. He'll likely go out on a hunt for Damon at some point for revenge. I'm also thinking the history teacher is using him to uncover some hidden history.

What if the history teacher is Catherine's sire? Speaking of which, I'm doubtful that the crystal was actually destroyed. I think it would be a great season finale if Damon actually uncovered the church. That would certainly raise the stakes going into season 2 (no pun intended).

Oh yeah, Logan is back. Meh.

I LOVE this show, did anyone else get the "werewolf" foreshadowing? The shot of the full moon, the teacher calling the mayor a "alpha male douche" and Elena's brother asking the mayor's son (can't remember his name) "what is happening to you? and him replying "I don't know".
