Looking for movie night comedy reccommendations
Me and my friend are having a movie night next week since she and I are both stressed out from work/school, and never get out during the week. Basically we are looking for something along the lines of Step Brothers or Forgetting Sarah Marshall to make us laugh until we cry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A few....depending on your tastes...
40 year old Virgin
Blazing Saddles
Some Like it Hot
Liar Liar
Sorry, I haven't seen many comedies from the past couple of years.

And if Hangover were out yet, I'd suggest a double bill.
Two of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and they were released within, what, months?

I haven't seen Hangover yet, when it comes out I plan on it. I Love You Man was so incredibly awkward haha

Re: Looking for movie night comedy reccommendations
thanks for the help guys, I think we're going with 40 Year Old Virgin (which I've never seen). Feel free to help us out for future nights since I'm supposed to be "the movie guy" of the bunch but I'm always really late with comedies.

I'm sure these suggestions will be blasted by some (most?) around here, but I found all of these to be a bit above average in regards to the laughs department:
Sex Drive
Saving Silverman
Dodgeball
Team America: World Police
Road Trip (2000)
Zoolander
Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny
oh, and F/X's new TV show "The League" is friggin' hilarious

I always found Severance to be delightfully entertaining. Same with Shaun of the Dead.

I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Its closest companion pieces would be (fairly recent) Superbad, Role Models, I Love You Man (which I liked better the second time) and The Hangover. I liked 40 Year Old Virgin but didn't find it constantly hilarious, same goes for Knocked Up -- a few laughs here and there but both are overlong, though they are well rounded movies, something most comedies fail to achieve. I also enjoyed Fired Up! from earlier this year, the mix of strange humor and beautiful women turned it into one of my guilty pleasures for the year, just sayin'.
I need to watch Sex Drive, have heard a lot of good things about it (but the trailers/ads were really terrible.)
