True, teacher is very hot. The kid brother was quite the c-blocker.
Betty is going sandbag Don with his past, and it won't be pretty.
The revolving door of Sterling-Cooper's ownership isn't all that surprising, but we'll see if it happens sooner or later.
Paul needs to be shown the door, but doubt that's happening soon. Laughed when he got schooled by Peggy and Don.

I don't know if it's because we now know these characters so well, but they are all, for the most part, horrible human beings; petty and selfish in the worst ways.

In the final analysis we all act in our own self-interests, some of us are better at disguising it with "win-win" BS.

I've got a feeling that Don's/Dick's life is going to be turned upside down at the end of the season, with the double bombshell of Betty finding out who he really is and Sterling Cooper being sold out from under them.
Since we know that SC is up for sale, I wonder if Conrad Hilton could buy it and use it as his own advertising agency/PR firm for the Hilton hotel chain?
When Betty threw the bathrobe in the wash with the keys in the pocket, I thought for sure she wouldn't find them and Don would escape.

"She's Jane, she's my wife"
"Does Mona know?"
Betty is so going to fuck Don over some how now that she knows something is up.
Anyone else getting a sense that the teacher is a little crazy and will flip out when Don eventually ends things between them?

Peggy was great this episode. Loved how she basically kicked Paul's ass while being gracious at the same time.
I also liked how the British guy smooth-talked Cooper into going to the party. "Who told you I was vain?" I hope he's not sent back to London.
And how does Lois still have a job? After, you know, driving a tractor in the office and severing a coworker's foot? Seems like that would be grounds for dismissal.

"Don't yell at him." lol
Pete was noticably absent this episode. Can't get enough of good ol Pete. Glad to see Joan returning next week.

I thought the Brit was being rerouted to Egypt or something. Unless that's still the case and he didn't bother telling his family (she thinks she's going back to Great Britian). I smell "divorce."

the film History of Violence had the same type of scenario - the husband takes on a new identity, dragging the wife and children into the same facade without their knowing, until the old identity is exposed to the wife. The wife has a hard time with it - at first - until her primal love for her husband, whoever he is, takes hold.
It will probably pan out the same for Don and Betty.

I wonder how Don's contract is going to play in the sale?
At first I thought that Paul's look was one of 'im in grade school compared to these two', but then later I thought it could also be one of love for Peggy?

I think the look was one of "awe" and "admiration" after Peggy came up with that idea. He was floored.

"OH MY GOD, even though I told her that she makes me look bad when she plays off one of my ideas and spontaneously comes up with a gem, and even though I worked independently on purpose, she took the one sentence I said off the cuff and used it for a great idea, so THAT BITCH DID IT AGAIN!"

Couldn't happen as it didn't happen in real life. Everything with Hilton so far has been fairly on the money...at this time period he really was looking for a new ad agency just like in the show. There was a good article about it somewhere that I read last week.

She definitely is going to end up crazy. I would love to see how Don handles that.
I liked how both Don and Betty thought they were the recipients of the "wrong" number call. And I of course think it was the teacher the one who called.

Don is a dumbass for keeping that shit around at home. Your wife has nothing to do - she's bound to snoop around at some point.

I find it very hard to believe not only that he'd leave that key in his clothes, but that he'd forget about it for the next few days. Where does he keep that key regularly, and why wouldn't he have it on him? Slipping and forgetting about it for a little while, sure, but for 2 days? I call shenanigans.

I thought it was a little too early in the show for Betty to find out Don's real identity. I also think the teacher and her brother will probably do something to Don and his family before season's end.

No, it was a look of
"OH MY GOD, even though I told her that she makes me look bad when she plays off one of my ideas and spontaneously comes up with a gem, and even though I worked independently on purpose, she took the one sentence I said off the cuff and used it for a great idea, so THAT BITCH DID IT AGAIN!"

I think Betty was more upset to learn that there was another Mrs. Don Draper than she was to learn about Dick Whitman.

As for Kinsey's look at Peggy, it seemed to me a mixture of animosity and awe. I think he truly was stunned at how easily she can come up with these things off the cuff.

They were shipping him off to India until his replacement got his foot chopped off by the lawnmower. Once that happened they decided to keep him there.
