I fucking love Canada's SteelBooks, that's the problem. The DVDTalk Exchange forum used to be about helping each other out as fellow collectors, not buying 20 copies of a rare SteelBook and selling them at a $25 profit each. It makes me sad.

To be fair to the OP, if his prices include shipping and he's from Canada, that's not much of a profit for him. Retail price for the steelbook with taxes included is close to $40 Canadian. Then you add the shipping from Canada and if he uses Expedited Parcel, that's close to $13. It doesn't leave you with a huge profit margin and I don't think that it's worth the hassle IMHO.

But aren't you close to Windsor? Can't you go over to Future Shop?

If I'm ever in the Detroit area I could, but I'm on the West side of Michigan primarily. I just looked it up, and the closest Future Shop to me is 176 miles away. It's better than what most U.S. members have to deal with, but still a little far. I suppose if I could order all of the SteelBooks online and have them hold them for me for weeks so I could make one trip for them it might be worth it, but if their online policy is anything like Best Buy's, they'd only hold them for just over a week.

Most of the steelbooks are not available online until just prior to release, and there is a limit of one per person now online. Helps to cut down on the hoarders, but it doesn't prevent it altogether.

Not to defend the OP or anything, but the retail price is $31.99 CDN + 5 to 15.5% tax. An offer of $30 US (~$31.13 CDN as of today) does seem low. Especially if it includes shipping..
