World's Greatest Dad - December 8, 2009
From dvdactive.com;
The film is still available on VOD, but wanted to throw this out for anybody else looking to purchase it. This is probably in my Top 3 of the year, and I look forward to rewatching it, and listening to the commentary.
Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($26.98) and Blu-ray ($34.98) releases of World's Greatest Dad which stars Robin Williams, Alexie Gilmore, and Daryl Sabara. Each will be available to own from the 8th December. Extras will include an audio commentary, a behind the scenes featurette, a HDNet: A Look At World's Greatest Dad featurette, deleted scenes, outtakes, and a music video.

This is easily in my top movies of the year, I can't recommend this enough. Boston comic Tony V is great in it as the grievance counsilor.

Agreed on all counts. For those who haven't seen this, please avoid reviews since many of them can't resist putting in a MASSIVE spoiler.

/\ Yeah, a lot of reviewers dropped the spoiler, but this is one film you'll want to watch without that knowledge. I feel kind of guilty even confirming that there is a spoiler.

Just watched this via Netflix. Great film!! Very "Heathers"-esque. Loved it.

One of my favorite films of the year too. I was checking it on Rottentomatoes and it had a 95% approval rating. If they have 10 best picture nominations for next year this should be one of them, but I won't hold my breath. I don't think there was any 2nd audio on my Netflix rental.

My boss saw this over the holidays and told me that he thought it was the worst, most vulgar movie he'd ever seen, and that I shouldn't even bother watching it. Naturally, that made me want to see it. I'll have to check it out.
