I don't think [actor] should ever play a [role] again

What actor/actress do you think should never play a particular role again, either because they'd done it before so incredibly well, or the flipside, they were simply too atrocious for words.

Michael Chiklis should never play a cop again, if he does, it'll always pale in comparison to The Shield.

Ian McKellen should never play a wizard again. He rocked it as Gandalf.

*I was torn whether to post this in the movie, or the TV thread...

I don't think Channing Tatum, Paul Walker, or Chris Klein should ever play anything again. Period.

Harrison Ford should never play the husband/father looking for his wife/kids again. He's done it too many times and I think he'll never top his performance in Frantic.

What about a grandfather/father looking for his daughter/grandkids?
At his age, that's all he should be looking for ;o)

Al Pacino should simply stop acting... 'yelling' isn't 'acting' you has been.

Jodie Foster. Just stop already.

Whoopi Goldberg. Never 'act' again, you made a joke of the Oscar and that's enough damage.

I had no problem with him either, but when I saw Star Trek, the thread here was just filled with Chris Pine hating. People saying that the movie was great, but he was the worst part of the whole thing.

Sandra Bullock should never be in anything again.

she's the only person who comes to mind that makes films I avoid because of her, specifically.

It was inevitable that most people were going to fill in the second blank with "anything, ever."

Say what you will about Chris Klein, but he was at least well cast in Election.

He's really not a very good actor honestly, but as the saying goes "Even the sun shines on a dogs ass some days"

Mark Wahlberg should never be in anything again.

Vince Vaughn should never play that same "Vince Vaughn" character he plays in every movie.

Interesting how this thread was intended for us to mention the kind of roles certain actors should never do again, but instead has turned into us saying certain actors should never work again, period!

I expected a lot of the "so and so should never act again" but at least you were creative with your selection.

Harrison Ford should never play Indiana Jones again. He's too old. Recast the role & set future films again during the 30's/40's. Recasting worked for Bond.

Johnny Depp should never play a feminized version of a beloved character in a top hat in a Tim Burton film again.

Oh shit. Too late
