Re: Great Amazon Deals on TV Series
Seriously. Are you seeing something that we aren't seeing? Stargate Atlantis: The Complete Series is currently $153. That would be "way overpriced," not "cheap as heck." It's a 5-season set. So $30 per season is cheap? For Stargate: Atlantis?
That's not even the cheapest you can get it on Amazon's own site. You could buy the season 1-4 bundle for $97, and then add season 5 for another $33. They're new, fulfilled by Amazon, and qualify for FSSS.
Hey, I for one really appreciate you trying to notify your fellow DVDTalkers of a good deal, but like the others reading this thread, I'm wondering what's going on.

Re: Great Amazon Deals on TV Series
The forum already automatically puts an affiliate link when you post an Amazon link.
Was this link supposed to be to a sale? Cause all I see is "Hot New Releases in Movies & TV".

Re: Great Amazon Deals on TV Series
It seems to me that most of the online sellers lately are trying to pull the wool over our eyes, trying to persuade us that these non-deals are great deals. You'd have to be totally clueless about the last year or two of DVD prices to fall for that. As I've written here before, any "great deals" will not be happening until Black Friday, if then.

Amazon usually gets a head-start on BF though, with some of their best deals in early Nov. Amazon's very best deals though are the ones they PM from other retailers. I hope they continue that again this year. One-stop shopping in the comfort of your home w/ no tax to boot!
