Many of the same titles that were on sale last year. I might pick some up later in the month.

Re: Amazon Halloween DVD sale

Just a quick word: the Ginger Snaps DVD that's on-sale will probably be the non-OAR version. I'm sure some might be tempted at $5.99, but you might also be interested in placing an order from Amazon.ca for the 16x9 Collector's Edition:

http://www.amazon.ca/Ginger-Snaps/dp...4423142&sr=8-1

$9.99 Canadian.

I'd consider the new Nightmare Before Christmas remaster to be a buy. The remaster is gorgeous and a sight to behold. I paid $22 when it came out and still consider that price worth it.

If you're having trouble filling an order up for free shipping.... Night of the Lepus is $5.79. While not part of their Halloween sale list, it should be

Re: Amazon Halloween DVD sale

So, what do you guys think?

1.House and House II
or
2.House and Demons

I haven't seen House II since I was a kid and I'm hoping someone has seen it recently. I honestly can't remember much about it, other than it starred the Bill Maher look-alike. Or I could go with Demons, which I'm not sure if I've ever seen. BTW these are B1G1, the reason I'm looking for another to go with House.

Re: Amazon Halloween DVD sale

I've heard good things about Them and might order it. Are there any other good movies similar to it? I've already seen The Strangers and thought it was ok.

I love Demons 2, not as much as the first of course but its still a really good sequel.

Re: Amazon Halloween DVD sale

I picked up four double features, including three more for my ever-growing Midnite Movies collection:

Chosen Survivors / The Earth Dies Screaming $7.99
Devils of Darkness / Witchcraft $7.99
Gorilla at Large / Mystery on Monster Island $7.99
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (1932 and 1941 versions) $5.79

Eight movies for $30. With free 2-day Prime shipping to boot.
