Question about Dexter Season 3 (please no spoilers)
How does Season 3 compare to Seasons 1/2? I just caught the entire 2nd season on Netflix and I need me some more Dexter, but S3 isn't available for streaming yet. If S3 is anywhere near the quality of 1/2 then I'll probably head out to my local BB and rent them tonight.

I don't know the answer (I'm just about halfway through season 2 myself), but if you have Showtime On-Demand they have every episode of the first three seasons up right now.

If you liked 2, you'll like 3. I thought the 1st season was the best (but a fair amount) but the next two are definitely good stuff.

Season 3 was meh for me.

Really enjoyed S1 and S2 (although Deborah annoys the hell out of me), but S3 was really terrible. It's like the writers forgot how to construct Dexter's character throughout the season.
However, I really enjoyed the latest book in the series

Season 3 started off slow but picked up in speed and in quality as it went on to the finale.

Enjoyed the hell out of Season 3. A good direction for the show, great acting and a lot of tense moments.
You won't be disappointed.
