Be The Producer Game: Thanksgiving Weekend "Final" Group(Please Vote!!)

Some of your fellow board members have come up with ideas for movies. You have Thanksgiving Weekend to watch up to 3 of the following movies. Please vote for the ones you would be likely to watch.

Movie #1: Alien: Camelot Fallen

Producer: JasonF
Franchises: King Arthur and Aliens
Directed By: Ridley Scott
Starring: Clive Owen, Scarlett Johansson, Daniel Craig
Supporting: Anthony Hopkins, James Callis, Kate Beckinsale
Cameo: Dame Helen Mirren
Screenwriter: David Peoples
Punch-Up Writer: James Cameron
Score: Jerry Goldsmith
Summary: Alien: Camelot Fallen Director Ridley Scott returns to the sci-fi horror franchise he created with this exhilirating action-horror story set in King Arthur's Camelot. When a comet crashes to Earth near Camelot, it brings with it something more -- a deadly xenomorph that kills all in its path. Now, with the help of his sworn enemies Morgan LeFay and Mordred, King Arthur and his knights must stop the creature before it's too late. Starring Daniel Craig (King Arthur), Scarlett Johansson (Guinevere), Clive Owen (Lancelot), Sir Anthony Hopkins (Merlin), Kate Beckinsale (Morgan LeFay), James Callis (Mordred), and Dame Helen Mirren (Nymue). Written by David Peoples (Blade Runner, Unforgiven) with James Cameron. Rated R for horror, violence, and strong sexual content.

Movie #2: City of Lights 2: Dead By Dawn

Producer: Groucho
Franchises: The Little Tramp and Evil Dead
Directed By: Sam Raimi
Starring: Bruce Campbell, Charlie Chaplin, Jason Statham
Supporting: Ted Raimi, Bridget Fonda, Groucho Marx
Cameo: David Hassellhoff
Screenwriter: David Mamet
Score: George Gershwin
New Original Song: The Beatles
Summary: City Lights 2: Dead by Dawn

The Little Tramp (Charlie Chaplin) has settled down with the Flower Girl (Bridget Fonda) and together they run a struggling flower shop. The Tramp befriends a crazy millionaire (David Hasselhoff as himself) who only likes The Tramp when he is drunk (which is quite often!) In one of these drunken states, Hasselhoff gives The Tramp his prize possession: the last surviving copy of The Necronomicon Ex-Mortis.

While the Tramp is asleep, the Flower Girl reads aloud from the book on a whim, only to find herself possessed by an evil spirit. She transforms into an ugly hag (now played by Ted Raimi), and attempts to kill the Tramp, who manages to lock her in the cellar -- but not before she decapitates poor Hasselhoff! And things are getting worse as The Tramps neighbors began to become possessed one-by-one and attempt to enter his poorly-constructed home.

The Tramp calls the police, and The Cop (Jason Statham) appears. The Cop kicks ass and takes names, but is overwhelmed. It looks like curtains for The Tramp and The Cop, when the wise-cracking Professor (Groucho Marx) appears. The Professor investigates a passage in the book, and declares that he has found that a hero can come from the future and save the day. The Professor reads the passage but is killed (by his own cigar!) just as he finishes the last word.

The Time Traveller appears -- it is chainsaw-wielding Ash (Bruce Campbell). Ash, The Cop, and The Tramp team up and destroy the remaining demons. The credits roll, as the new Beatles hit "I Shot That She-Bitch There" plays.

Rated "R" for graphic violence and tobacco use. 121 minutes.

Movie #3: Terminator and Back to the Future

Producer: devilshalo
Franchises: Terminator and Back to the Future
Directed By: Frank Darabont
Starring: Michael J. Fox, Christain Bale, Christopher Lloyd
Supporting: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Logan Lerman
Cameo: Thomas F. Wilson
Screenwriter: James Cameron
Score: Alan Silverstri
Punch Up Writer: Frank Darabont
Summary: 2015, John Connor and his small band of rebels escape Skynet to Hill Valley and discover Doc Brown's Institute of Future Technology. There, he meets Jules Brown who sends Connor back in time to save Doc and prepare his soon-to-be mother for Judgment Day.

Movie #4: Calvin & Hobbes and Lord of the Rings

Producer: Mano
Franchises: Calvin & Hobbes and Lord of the Rings
Directed By: Brad Bird
Starring: Ian McShane, Alexander Gould, Rainn Wilson
Supporting: Felicity Huffman, Elle Fanning, William H. Macy
Cameo: John DiMaggio
Screenwriter: Bill Watterson
Score: Michael Giacchino
Punch Up Writer: Andrew Stanton
Summary: After being duped by his dad into being read one of his boring stories by the lure of dragons, orcs, and magic; Calvin, as voiced by Alexander Gould (Weeds), and Rainn Wilson (The Office) as Hobbes soon embark on a journey through J.R.R. Tolkien's masterful storytelling. Calvin's fanciful imagination leads the way as they try to destroy the one ring and avoid the perils of his backyard. Animated. Directed by Brad Bird. Also featuring the voice talents of Ian McShane, William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Elle Fanning, and John Di Maggio.

Movie #5: Indiana Jones and the Pirates of the Undead

Producer: The Bus
Franchises: Indiana Jones and The Pirates of the Caribbean
Directed By: James Cameron
Starring: Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford
Supporting: Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley, Scarlet Johansson
Cameo: Barack Obama
Screenwriter: Lawrence Kasdan
Flex Writer: Jackson Publick
Score: John Williams
Summary: Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), cursed by zombie god Ponce de Leon (Brad Pitt), travels back in time where he meets Capt. Jack Sparrow who is in search for the Fountain of Youth. Rated R for gratutitous female nudity.

Movie #6: The Expendables: Origins

Producer: Michael Corvin
Franchises: Leon and The Expendables
Directed By: Christopher Nolan
Starring: Sylvester Stallone, Clint Eastwood, Jean Reno
Supporting: Naomi Watts, Delroy Lindo, Guy Pearce
Cameo: Frank Stallone
Screenwriter: Christopher Nolan
Score: Don Davis
Punch Up Writer: Jonathan Nolan
Summary: Sylvester Stallone is set to star in "The Expendables: Origins" for Warner Bros. Pictures. Christopher Nolan turns in his Batwings for a crack at the origin story. Screenplay by brother Jonathan Nolan with final touches by Christopher himself. The team that brought you The Dark Knight, will also be showing the origins of Léon and his beginnings as part of Sly's crew and what made him go independant.

Stallone, will be joined onscreen by Clint Eastwood, and Jean Reno, who will be reprising his Léon role. Guy Pearce is in final negotiations for the main villain role in the film.

The script is under tight lockdown but if previous successes are any indication, we could be looking at an amazing film for next August. Luc Besson has given Nolan his blessing and was reportedly amazed at an early draft of the script on how well crafted Léon's origins became in the hands of the brothers Nolan.

Producers are Sylvester Stallone, Christopher Nolan and Michael Corvin.

The poll will be open for 7 days, so take your time. All the "producers" will have the option to promote their movies within this thread. So give it a read through before making your final decision.

Would it be possible to give the titles of the film's more prominance in the summary? Something like this:

Movie #7: See You Next Wednesday

Better? Missing two titles, but the other 4 are done.

Didn't I already see these movies earlier in the year? I'll just Netflix them now.

They are being re-released for Movie Talk Awards consideration. Or the dollar theater.

Calvin & Hobbes in a J.R.R. Tolkien world? That's the best combination since PB&J. It gets my vote.
