I know NHT is "retail only", but are there any (unscrupulous) authorized dealers out there that do phone/web orders?

Looking for SuperOnes for my rears!

Believe it or not, Amazon.com carries NHT speakers! Their prices are not that great, but there are several ways to earn credit there (freeride, firstlook, etc.).

There are probably dozens (who will of
course sell you a floor model as new, or
scratch off the serial numbers so NHT can't
trace their origin; in either case they will
have no warranty).

Amazon no longer carries NHT speakers. I ordered three Superones a month ago and was saving up money and GCs to buy two more for my rears.

I was ready and went to buy them and could not find them on Amazons site. An inquiry send to Amazon came back with a generic response saying that Amazon currently does not carry this product and here is a similar JBL speaker that they carry. No thanks.

I think you can go to mysimon.com and do an inquiry about getting Superones.

On a side note, I LOVE my NHT's. At first I thought sounds were missing but I realized that I was missing the harshness of my old speakers. They are just so smooth and make such a great soundfield. My wife actually hears the difference and commented to me that its ok with her if I go ahead and get two more for the rear. YES!

World-Exchange.com sells superone pairs for $239. The speakers are sold as new and have World-Exchange's own extended warranty on them (which they claim is better).

M I C H A E L is definitely right about companies being sticky w/their warranties and authorized dealers, especially speaker companys. You can check w/World-Exchange and NHT to see if the original manufacturer's warranty is covered and what the details are.

My local BM store had them on sale for $275+ tax and they are authorized. Depending on who you are, saving an extra $60 is/isn't worth it.

When I had to make a similar decision (different speakers, same stores), I went w/the BM store - the dealer gave me lots of tips and a few breaks (extra boxes,
some speaker wire,...). Don't get me wrong, it takes work to find a good local dealer.
My "local" dealer was 35 miles away - all the other stores I could find sucked big time.

So is World-exchange authorized? I would assume not. What is a good price for Ones?

Dealer cost for a pair is $198. For new
ones, the prices above are good deals.
