Thankfully NBC has Leno and Fox doesnt have any original programming at 10pm or my Tivo would be wanting a raise.

I think Castle has a very good chance of finishing 2nd in the timeslot, especially coming off Dancing with the Stars as it's leadin.

Apparently Michael Connelly will have an appearance tonight, probably like the James Patterson poker appearance from last year.

Awesome news about Michael Connelly having a cameo. Loved this show last year.

Thanks for mentioning this. I had no idea that it was back so soon. I had it on DVR season pass, but it kept recording the same episodes over and over all summer so I deleted it.

Good episode.
Is this the first time Nathan Fillion has been on a show that actually had a 2nd Season premiere?

This is the only show on TV where I have a crush on the lead actor. Oh, Stana Katic is cute too... she was in full Stiletto mode with the Russian accent.

Good episode and Fillion rocked it. Really like the longer hair on Beckett. Very fun show and I hope it does well enough to stick around. (Since this is ABC, you never know).

On one hand, i'm glad they didn't go the obvious route of Castle not being forgiven and playing that out for a few episodes, but on the other hand, given the dynamic of the show, i think that could've been a cool angle.

Since the show is more like a procedural, you could probably jump in season 2 alright. However, I would recommend renting season 1, which just came out on DVD and is only 10 episodes, to get some background on the characters and also learn about the ongoing story arc that was established last season. Hulu unfortunately only has the last 3-4 episodes from season 1.
