I watched this today, Disneynature's release of a documentary about Flamingos in Tanzania

Now here is the icing: Sountrack by The Cinematic Orchestra
(one of my favorite bands of all time)



I'm sure the documentary filmmakers were closely looking at this being the next "March Of The Penguins", but it doesn't quite get there. There were some points that I felt the filmmakers didn't know when to end the film. Towards the end, there were at least 5 times that I thought, "Time for the end credits" but only to find there was more....

Still, beautiful stuff, and the vultures out there eating the flamingos for food were pretty sadistic. And of course, highly recommend the sountrack album!

March 15th on BD in the UK and also DVD. No word on extras, but there are a few featurettes on the official site. I hope there are some, obviously.
