Do note though that a newer set has been released with ALL the pink panther related cartoons for $35.99 at amazon...

now that is a bargain, I paid about 10 bucks for my ant and the ardvark disc alone, used to love it as a kid and still do, to hear that ardvark that talks like jackie mason.

Here is my concern. With the original Pink Panther Cartoon set you got extra cartoons than if you just collected the volumes. From everything I have read thus far the new Pink Panther Cartoon set comes with the volumes? If that is the case then we are missing some toons.

Dove in a bit deeper and it looks as though the 9th disc in the new set is just the 5th disc from the original set that contained the extra toons. So it looks the the new set is the way to go.
