Piven said via his Twitter that this was the best episode they've ever done.

He was wrong.

Not terrible or anything, but the Andrew storyline isn't my favourite.

Re: Entourage 8/30

I don't know if it's the best episode they've ever done, but it was a damn good one.
Spoiler:
Love that Ashley came back... love that Sloan is conflicted... as she watched him drive away, you know she wants him now. She went to have drinks with him and toy with him some more, but now that he's finally blown her off, she wants him... and I bet she starts to fight for him.

The Andrew storyline rules. His wife rules. Ari's scenes are particularly good this season.

Loved having the pitch take place in the jail-visitation room.

Meh. Only Drama was gold. "Let's just hope he puts a rubber on it." & "Sloan is all powerful. She stops him from gettin' pussy and she won't give him any."

Andrew's been the only consistently good storyline this season.

Piven certainly had to show some range in this episode beyond being an asshole agent. Beverly DeAngelo could benefit from such a storyline.

Re: Entourage 8/30

IMO, the season has turned around for me in the last few weeks. Thank you E for telling Sloane to pretty much fuck off, as she has always had him wrapped around her finger, and he finally walked away. As Chris Rock said in his standup act once, "You are only as faithful as your options!"

I can't remember the exact line by Andrews wife, "You fuck like shit too!" But whatever she said was hillareous!

And Drama jumping into the tub was great!

Re: Entourage 8/30

This was one of the best of the season. Just really good all around... minus the security guard scenes.

Re: Entourage 8/30

Classic Drama:

E: She's not putting a label on it
Drama: I hope he puts a rubber on it

Drama while laying in bed with Turtle: Turtle, tell me a story.

Re: Entourage 8/30

While Gary Cole is a welcome character actor to anything, I don't find Andrew Kline that sympathetic a character. I have a feeling that despite landing Sorkin, he's most likely still fucked, and knows it. I think that he will be looking at some major jail time and that will be the way they write him off the show.

Re: Entourage 8/30

I hope that they show Drama's fallout from confronting the bigwig soon. I was hoping for a bit of that in this ep.

Re: Entourage 8/30

Liked the prison scene and a few moments here and there but it really felt like a lot of 'been there, done that' kind of shit.

Re: Entourage 8/30

Thought the whole security angle was great - especially the 2nd dry run with Vince and E watching on the monitors with Drama getting carried and then dumped into the bathtub.

Drama seems to be carrying the humor of the show this season in terms of funny plotlines and funny one-liners (in the past it seemed more Ari supported).

Re: Entourage 8/30

Although this episode had some great moments, like E telling Sloan to F_off, Drama's lines about Sloan, and all security practice stuff, I still felt the show lacked something. I like Cole, but I'm a bit tired of the storyline myself. Fire him or keep him on, just don't spend more time on it.

Re: Entourage 8/30

Was Sloane wearing a super-tight push-up bra during her call to Eric, and then not wearing one at the end of the episode?

Re: Entourage 8/30

I liked the episode, it was full of plot.

My only big complaint about this season is they set up this great story line with Ari and Lloyd in the first episode, and since then they've abandoned it for the Andrew Klein story. I like the AK storyline as it says alot about Ari as a character, but I was looking forward to Ari turning Lloyd into a agent.

Re: Entourage 8/30

A good episode, but far from the best. My main issue is that 3/4 of the gang was relegated to the tertiary security subplot. There was some fun stuff in there, and I know it laid the groundwork for things to come, but in this episode it felt sort of tacked on.

I hope it ends up being Dom.

Re: Entourage 8/30

I wasn't expecting this stalker thing to go through so many episodes, to the point that it's a "cliffhanger" moment. Plus it's pretty convenient that the guy left his freaking ID there. Must have been intentional whether it was him, or someone else leaving it there.

He must have been high, One Day In The Valley is the best ep. Ashley coming back is close (not quite, but close) to having Dom coming back, it just doesn't work. E belongs with Sloan because Emmanuelle Chiriqui belongs on my TV in HD every week!

Adrian Grenier isn't getting much screen time this season, it's a little weird. I'd rather have a few more ups and downs for his career, that's where the show has fun. Sure, it's been done, but all the focus on the other boys without much Vince isn't as entertaining. The show is at it's best when it's over the top with all 4 guys enjoying Vince's fame and money. That's not really happening right now. I'd rather watch Seth Green take it in the face again than Andrew Klein driving into a house.
