I'm going thru my list of games deciding on what to keep or trade and also wht I might want to go back thru. Awhile back I went thru COD2 veteran for the mega points which was a pain but fun. I noiticed that in COD 4: Modern Warefare that completing various stages (11 in all) nets 40 points per stage.

I wanted some input on how this is compared to "Veteran' in COD2, if it's tough but fun or just a real pain-in-the-a$$!. Just a good solid and fun game but these so-called "Veteran" modes tend to require some work and patience.

A pain-in-the-a$$! I was doing fine till I got to the War Room and got stuck. Never finished it.

COD2 Veteran is more difficult than COD4 Veteran, IMO. COD4 is more fun than COD2. The only part on COD4 Veteran I couldn't finish was the very last scene on the airplane. That's crazy hard.

It took me almost 3 hrs to beat that damn airplane level on veteran. I was so freaking glad when it was over.

I actually found COD2 Veteran to be a cake walk, and i couldn't finish 4s. I made it to the part right after the sniping of that General and your trying to escape and i just couldn't do it. Same with WoW. Can't get past the last level.

As noted, No Fighting in the War Room and the final airplane scene are stunningly difficult on Veteran--ESP. the airplane part, which took, literally, hours. (There's some great video help for that one on youtube). That said, it's still darn fun (except when you want to break your TV) and sweet to finish. Go for it.
